Who I am

Oakpress Studio is the trading name of Jack Thomas. I’m the data controller for information you share through this website. You can contact me at hello@oakpressstudio.co.uk.

What I collect and why

• Contact form: your name, business name, email, website and message. I use these only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver your project. The legal basis is legitimate interest in responding to you, or taking steps to enter a contract at your request.
• Email: if you email me, I keep the conversation so I can reply and keep track of your project.

Who else handles it

Form messages are delivered by Web3Forms. Email is hosted by Namecheap Private Email. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. These providers process data only to provide their service. Some may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If I add visitor statistics, I will use a privacy-friendly tool that does not need cookies, and update this notice.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don’t turn into a project are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for 6 years for tax and accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email me and I’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
